Then in the Voice pop-up menu, select Customize, and then VO + Right-Arrow to the table of voices.
Go to the Speech category in the utilities table and select the Voices tab. Type VO (Control + Option) + F8 to open the utility. The list of voices is located in the VoiceOver Utility. There are now many more voices from which to choose. According to Apple, one change is that help tags of images will give a brief image description. There have been several changes to VoiceOver. Once correct information is entered, the software will install. The name is not the same as the Apple ID. You enter the ID name for your computer and the password. After completing download, the software needs to be installed.

Once the download is started, the download button will be dimmed. Mavericks can take several hours to download.
